Sonmael’s appearance was rather odd if you were not used to it. His coat was a light brown tipped in darker almost black at his head and legs, accompanied by black stripes running along his legs. His mane and tail were a silky, silver gradient ending as the same colour his extremities were. Following the same colour palette as his body were his wings that were just as long as he was, especially as he carried them protectively next to his body to not have them take up too much space and be an inconvenience for him to get to where he needed to be.

Moving onto his head, the most striking thing were his eyes which were a light blue that held in years of knowledge and training under his father and the two grey horns perched on top of his head ; one being in the middle of his forehead where the other was slightly lower down the bridge of his nose. It was rare that Sonmael did not have his head raised, taking attention away from his more compact stature, this was also visible in his tail which gave him a more elegant and royal appearance. Also his stride, though his steps were smaller, was no less confident-looking with the little hop in his step when he moved into a trot.

Sonmael preferred to not wear that many accessories, the only one being a single golden triangle at the bottom of each of his ears.

Shapen to be the crown prince, Sonmael has had to learn how to be diplomatic fairly early. While he was never truly pushed to from his fathers, he could not accept failure from himself. It was a title he took more than seriously, even if he pushed himself to the brink for it sometimes. Other than his twin brother, Sonmael was fairly calm and is often able to look at things in a clear-headed way. Despite that, he can be just as strong willed - stubborn even if need be.

When he was younger, Sonmael did not speak to strangers easily and often tended to be one step behind his brother - just so he could observe the initial reaction. When the other did not pose any kind of danger was when he slowly started to open up. While he still had a tendency to stick close to his twin - his diplomatic and responsible side

Those who are extremely close to him - his fathers, twin brother - do know that behind the regal Crown Prince, sat a boy that simply wanted to do good for those close to him. That lived of praise and could be fairly clumsy and impatient at times. While those sides were known to him, another part of his personality that he thought nobody knew is that he was extremely protective, so much so that it often tended to take possessive tendencies even when he tries not to. It is hard for him to see those close to him with others. It’s something Sonmael despised about himself and sought to work on this nasty part of him that he wished would never see the light of day.

Sonmael was born as the oldest of twins, though there had not been that much time between him and the birth of his brother Corvus. The twins were absolutely adored by their fathers and therefore had a fairly easygoing childhood. While Sonmael was the one that would eventually reach the throne, from a young age he kept holding on to the fact that his brother would rule with him. They have never been separated - some found this weird, how well they seemed to get along, but only Corvus and their fathers knew how much alike they actually were in terms of personality and ways of thinking. Corvus completed him, they each were one side of the same coin, independent yet not able to live without one another.

While of course, his training had not been the easiest - causing him to inwardly curse his position, he held on to the fact that he would not be alone, he would still be around the people that have been by his side since birth and mean something to the people he was meant to rule. He had been fully prepared but now.. now he did not even have the one constant in his life by his side, his twin brother. This was going to be his first task, to hopefully find him and then see what could be done and how they would deal with this together.

The arrival to this familiar - yet not - place was a rough one, his first instinct to find his twin stronger than his survival instinct and usual calmness in assessing situations. Then, of course came the worry for his other family, were they okay? The fact he did not know anything only served to make him feel more lost than he already was. It all seemed so familiar yet not in ways that left him insecure and shaken in his usually steadfast body and mind.

NOT JOINING WITH MAGIC.

Just like his arrival, the receival of his magic was anything but ‘normal’. While he does not realise this for a while after he arrived, the lightning strike that had hit him carried more than just electricity. It sat deep in his bones, but energy simmered just beneath the surface, ready to be let out at any moment.

While he will not be able to control it for a long time - with it being unpredictable at best, eventually Sonmael will be able to call up a lightning storm at will as well as have sparks of energy surrounding his body - both as a weapon and a defense. Though doing this had serious repercussions, mainly him getting paralyzed and not being able to move for a long time. Gradually the time he can not move for will shorten, but over use at the level he is now is more than dangerous with the lethal edge it could hold if the inward shock is big enough to get to his heart.
