RE: What's the story morning glory? - Kasil - 09-15-2017 KASIL He supposed it was unfair to spring such a title on the young stallion without asking him if he even desired such a position. He also supposed though, that that was what appointments were for. He didn’t have much of a desire to give the cherry colt a choice on the matter. He needed fresh minds, and his youth did him a service in that he was yet untainted by the world. Perhaps Kasil needed a more seasoned advisor, but having Po act on his behalf seemed to be more of a homage to his true self. So he indulged. ”Nothing to thank me for. I know you will serve us all well.” He said to Po, curious to see if he would be right. He let his gaze drift back to the golden lass before him, briefly glancing at Charlemagne again but he hadn’t offered a reply to anything Kasil had said. Suit himself. He offers the Dusk Emissary another smile, before nodding. ”Of course, we’d be happy to escort you. We’re in the process of rebuilding quite a lot, but I’m sure that we won’t be disturbing anyone.” He could feel the heat starting to rise along with the sun as it climbed higher into the sky, the pinks and oranges of dawn starting to fade away into blue skies. It would be a fair day today, with minimal clouds. ”Shall we save the best for last, or would you like to go there first?” He asks, speaking specifically of the famous Dawn libraries. @ coding by Avis RE: What's the story morning glory? - Florentine - 11-24-2017 FLORENTINE REICHENBACH'S BAE Ipomoea’s spirits seemed to rise with the sun. Yet like the winter sun turns soft at midday, so too does the flower boy as his king’s words sink in. Emissary. Florentine’s eyes slide over Po’s face, capturing the lines that draw surprise and quiet delight, the lips that form whispered words of gratitude. Had she worn a similar look of shock when Rannveig announced her emissary? Florentine’s lilac gaze finally peels itself from the other emissary as Kasil leads their conversation onward. “Oh no, if you are rebuilding then now is not a time for a tour…” . “I will return at some point, especially since Po and I will try and find our eagle again… Maybe when I return, you can give me the tour then Po?” Her attention flits from the emissary and back to Kasil. “I should not like to hold you up from your morning duties.” Her wings flare, “Do come and visit Dusk, we should very much like to welcome you both. I am sure Rannveig would be delighted.” With a flurry of petals and gold limned feathers the Dusk Emissary is gone. @Kasil @Ipomoea – fiiiinally wrapping this bad boy up! Sorry it’s so short, my muse has no idea what to do with this thread any more >.< RE: What's the story morning glory? - Ipomoea - 11-27-2017 Ipomoea was sad to see Florentine go. Sure enough, he had already come to consider the Dusk Court Emissary as his friend—with their matching colors and flowers and wings, arranged quite differently but mirrored none the less, Dawn and Dusk represented across both their coats. How appropriate it was, that they should both be appointed Emissaries. “When you return,” he agreed, dipping his flowery crown with a smile. “May that time be soon.” He could envision them now, racing through the Illuster Meadow, chasing after a great bird that flew faster than them both. An innocent, naive dream, one that he truly hoped would come true someday, for Ipomoea had yet to experience true disappointment. “Fly well, Florentine!” he called after her, his fragile wings flaring at his ankles as she took off, as though they, too, wished to follow her into the skies. He watched after her for a quiet minute, as her silhouette faded slowly into the sky. “Would you care to come with me to the libraries, anyway?” he asked of Kasil, turning now to address his king, his friend. His appointment to emissary did not feel awkward: it felt natural, elation and curiosity filling his heart. “I think the best rather deserves to be visited first,” he said lightheartedly, nimble feet already beginning to make his way to the great building whether Kasil chose to follow or not—though he was sure he would. He already knew of the king’s love of the library. @ ”!!!” and that sounds like a wrap! I hope this is okay, dis c: manip by rhiann |
