Dear Rhos - 

I can’t remember the last time I sent a letter, so you should feel pretty special.

Unfortunately it’s not good news. Tonight Raum attacked Isra - cornered her in an alley, almost killed her. She defended herself and he ran off - but I found him, holed up in one of the old Crow hideouts. 

Rhoswen, I think he would have killed me too, if I hadn’t run. Something’s gone wrong with him, something’s gone bad. Enough that I wanted to warn you, and Sabi - I’m not sure what his plan is next, but I am sure there is one. 

Maybe skip out on the Midsummer festival here on Denocte. Maybe be extra watchful. 

I miss you, Rhos. Give Sabine a hug for me. And keep an eye out. You know him better than anyone but I don’t think anyone knows him right now. Keep yourselves safe.
