Crushing weeds of grass under her body weight, Kosephone made her way towards the waters edge. Her steps were slow and careful, eyes darting around for anyone in sight. While she examined her surroundings a thin wave of mist lingered around her as she reached her destination, circling herself like a blanket. After a final double take she looks over the water. The world was a dangerous place and one could never let their guard down. Kosie watched her mother drink at the waters edge many times and each time she examined it for gaters and other possible predators. Without her mother to baby sit her, Kosephone found her nerves becoming increasingly more unsettled by the wild.

Her life was so different and full of solidarity. Kosephone no longer had the protection of her family nor the love. She was barely an adult, inexperienced, and needed a home. Perhaps it was time to take a chance and roam through the pride lands. She let her thoughts dissipate by ignoring them. After seeing that the coast was clear she dipped down her head to the water, sniffing it first before taste testing. When Kosie was satisfied she hurriedly made her way from the waters edge , trotting off in the distance until she found a comfortable spot to hide in some tall grass. Circling her chosen spot she plopped down, taking the opportunity to play and roll in the dirt like a yearling.
