I S O R A T H — you will ache as I ache— tenderly, tragically, beautifully. Snow had once been a curiosity to the Regent. One which followed and nipped at the gruff eastern lords and their shaggy coats, and one which pinched at his hide in his youth. It had been when his mother had seen fit to weather a winter in the Drosvarl Fortress, at the behest of the current Lord. He remembered the chill, far colder than the one which gripped Novus now, entwined with wild magic and those who called the wailing mountains home. When he'd left, the snow and frosted landscapes had become more common, but their beauty remained. Wrapped in his finery, he had set out from the Citadel with no real purpose but to be, let the frigid wind wash over his silvery hair and invade his senses. In the pristine landscape he positively glowed, all porcelain and beaten gold, draped in pale constellations and tulle, the sunlight peering through the clouds having draped him in it's embrace. Usually, the fields were frequented with other winter lovers, those who adored the frigid chill pulling at their hair, and those who would make mischief. Lilac eyes spied them now, various shapes upon the rolling banks and inclines, wrapped in their cloaks. However, it was not them that drew his bejeweled gaze, the Regent was drawn to a solitary figure. Curiosity sparked, his head tilted as he mulled over the sadness such a silhouette provoked, striking appearance aside. Some were solitary creatures true, but this... One sweep of his impressive wings sent the kirin airborne in a flurry of startled snow, twinkling like glitter in the light as he glided over, stepping down just in front of her.
