There was only so much she could document within the confines of her home territory. She was biting at the bit to do a bit of exploring elsewhere, not quite into the neighboring territories --rumor had it that the sovereigns had returned, meaning she wouldn't exactly be welcome traipsing on outside land anymore-- but into the unclaimed lands between. There was a plain bordering Delumine that would do just nicely, the bison were known to roam there --or so her mother had told her-- and she would be absolutely ecstatic to see that for herself. To watch and silently observe the migrating herds of bison as they went about their daily routines, ah, what could be more fun?

That was what had her on the move early that morning, grabbing up one of her sketchbooks while her golden quill pen adorned that left ear. She made sure that she left early enough that she would get to watch the herds as they rose all the way until they settled down at the end of the day. She practically shivered in her hooves just thinking about it as she trotted out of the borders of her territory and straight towards Ruris. It was pretty easy going and before the morning had completely been worn out she was there on the great green plains. It was absolutely breathtaking, amazing, astounding. If the scenery alone wasn't enough to bring all thoughts to a halt then the bison that littered painted the place brown was. As of now she was too far away to see the details, the mare simply stood upon a hillock and silently watched the masses as the milled about before she stepped closer but not too close. She didn't want to influence the herd in any way. So, she came to a halt a several yards away and stood partially behind a stunted tree as she observed the bison before her. They went on as if she wasn't even there, grazing and milling about as they started their day.

To some it might seem boring but to Johari this was likely to be the height of her day; learning the daily routines of a creature that one might deem uninteresting.
