Turn your magic on, to me she'd say
Everything you want's a dream away

Delicate, beautiful. Biomes of vivid arrangements. He had crossed entire worlds, building an encyclopaedia rich with the lyrics of the earth and how it worked. To the wanderer, the dreamer, nature was a book to read written by miracles, and the knowledge he gained, he treasured, invaluable teachings and lessons. Fascinated by the cracks in the universe, buried stories, untold tales high in the sky. His mind, fuelled by curiosity, could never be bored.

Now he entered new territory, a new chapter and a tale of belonging. Years, the stallion had journeyed alone and now he came to rest in the Dawn Court.

The orange sky above was hued with purples and pinks as the sun dropped, noon turning to dusk. He took his gaze down to his parchment, continuing to sketch sun rays blistering through the trunks of trees. He captured the picturesque moments that were never truly embraced, enchanted by nature’s perfection. Great shapes were taking place on his paper, highlighting the streaks of sun, although he grimaced, changing to a rubber to correct the parts he deemed imperfect, redoing them until he declared artistic accuracy.

His papyrus was slowly coming alive with the gentle shading of pencils, incorporating a mass of skilful techniques to create the scene before him but as night began to fall and the darkness obstructed his vision, he simply sat up, pencils aside and watched the stars begin to beam through the leaves. Lonely, he appeared. But, amongst the charm of nature, he did not feel alone. The life within each blade of grass was felt as they gently swayed in the falling breeze, and the tops of trees wavered. The stridulating crickets could be heard and the old rustle in the dense shrubbery. Peace was found in his new adventure as part of a court and inside, excitement stewed as he dreamed about the path his new adventure may take him down.
