Jude couldn’t help himself at the sight of his ftheriend. A grin peeled over his lips and he practically leapt forwards in a flurry of pink tendrils and flowers. He disregarded the crowd around him and then strained upward to brace his neck against Vaella’s, despite the significance of their height difference. It elates him to actually find a reason to smile and he can’t feel anything but utter joy in that moment.
After he pulls away from his attempted embrace he stares upward at his friend. “I left Vectaeryn months ago,” he says, but he doesn’t dare admit his initial intentions.. Far too embarrassed to let out how recklessly he had let his heart lead him. “I needed a change of scenery.. I guess spending so much time in my garden left things to be desired.” There is a soft mewl and Mittens shows her small face and stretches out, gazing as judgmental as ever on the winged kirin. “So um..” He says and continues to stare up at her, “why did you decide to leave Vectaeryn?”
