Teiran watched the strange woman enter the court with keen interest. At first, the Solterran warrior thought the unicorn moved stiffly because of the cold but once she reached an area clear of snow that’s when Teiran noticed that her legs appeared to be metal. Prosthetics, she assumed, but how and why she couldn’t begin to guess. Still, her curiosity had been piqued. This woman was even more machine than she, who was robotic in almost everything she did.
At length, the rose hued soldier decided to approach, which was rather uncommon for her. If anything, what she really wanted was a better look at these curious ore cast legs. “You picked a bizarre time to find yourself in Solterra,” and Teiran used the flatly spoken greeting, if one could call it that, to observe the dark skinned and gilded woman before her. How would it be, she wondered, to have legs made of metal? Would they make her more powerful, more sure footed? If it could give her an advantage in protecting her court she was interested in it.
“If you need a fire to warm up by, there are several burning throughout the court,” as good an offer to stay as any the other woman would get from Teiran. Her sage green eyes were sharp, but perhaps sharper and more observant because of what had befallen her home. Trouble always brought out the severity in her. Things had settled down since the blizzard first started, the court becoming as adjusted as they could to a world covered in snow and cold. Or, perhaps, they only persevered, as Solterra always did regardless of what came at them
