Fight Information

Please refer to this thread and the Fighting System whenever you'd like to initiate or participate in a judged fight (Battles and Challenges).

Rules

General Format

Special Rules for CHALLENGES only: If the Sovereign is vulnerable, you may post your challenge without messaging staff. If the Sovereign is not considered vulnerable, message staff before posting. Ensure you meet the posted requirements for whichever rank you're challenging for. Check the Fight Records to verify that enough time has passed. — Sovereigns get a 2 week cooldown between challenges. — Regents and Emissaries get a 1 month cooldown between challenges. — Wardens & Champions get a 2 month cooldown between challenges. Message your opponent to make them aware of the challenge. Rewards must always be agreed upon by the parties involved. Age requirement for battles is 2 years old, and 3 years old for challenges. 2 Attacks and 1 Block are the allowed amount, no more. Various interesting items from the Agora can be used! Magic can be used for one attack or block. Bondeds can be used for one attack or block. Massive Bondeds cannot battle. The lesser telekinesis can be used in officially judged battles or challenges. It can't lift more than 5lbs within a 5 foot reach. It's imprecise and difficult to wield.

All fights have a set posting format with up to 6 posts, although a seventh post may be made by character #1 (no attacks allowed) to wrap up the thread and post an exit. 1. Form/Entrance: Character #1 enters (and posts the fight form). Character #2 has 1 week to respond. 2. Entrance/Attack: Character #2 enters and has the option to make the first attack. Character #1 has 3 days to respond. 3. (Block)/Attack: Character #1 has the option to block, and makes their first attack. Character #2 has 3 days to respond. 4. (Block)/Attack: Character #2 has the option to block, and makes their next attack. Character #1 has 3 days to respond. 5. (Block)/Attack: Character #1 can block (if not used), and makes their next attack. Character #2 has 3 days to respond. 6. (Block)/Exit: Character #2 can block (if not used), and ends the fight.  No response needed, but Character #1 can post an exit (no attacks or blocks).
