He listened to her softly, nodding slowly with each word that she spoke. While it was true that the only ones you heard about changing the tides of battle were the ones who run head first with large acts of bravery, the true heroes were the more silent ones. The ones that formulated the battle plans, the ones who nursed the wounded, the ones who cooked food for the soldiers. Each member was important, each had a role. No one role was more important than the other, even if some might disagree. "I like to think the confident ones are no more important than the ones who help around camp. Each has a role, each is important in his or her own way." Sometimes it was hard to see that, but Rhone always tried to shed light on the less known ways a soldier could help. But his time in battle had been so long ago. Surely some things had changed.
Eyes looked towards the maned wolf, watching the relationship between the two. It was refreshing to see such a bond, even if it did make him a tad jealous that he did not have someone to love him so completely. He hoped this world might open him up to another love, but heart break was something than ran deep within him. Perhaps he would never share a relationship as special was Uzuri and her wolf. Perhaps this world had other plans for him.
With a soft and steady sigh, Rhone looked back to Uzuri. "It was a pleasure walking with you, Uzuri. But I must head towards the library." He had many things to learn today, so many questions that needed answering. "Have confidence in yourself and all your ventures will be profitable." She had to know and believe in herself and she would be given all that she seeked.
With one final nod, the stallion changed course and headed towards the small library. He had much to to today even if he was losing daylight. He hoped to see Uzuri again one day. She seemed pleasant enough and a joy to talk to. Even a scholar such as himself gets lonely every now and then.
@Uzuri - ooc: a little closer - they should meet again soon!
