ORIAX
MAN BEHIND THE MONSTER
He's heard of this place.
Coming into Novus has stripped him of his immortality that he had been gifted with, had ripped away the magic of fire from his bones, but it hadn't stopped him. Stripped of the very things that had made him who he is.. had not stopped him. Instead, he had barreled headfirst into the lands known as Solterra, taking on the guise of a Merchant, a traveling Blacksmith.
He had heard rumors of this place. Of the creature, Leviathan. Of the man that had lingered in the soulless sands and paraded around as if he were some big name. Oriax snorts, angling his wings and landing on a patch of green with a flurry of sand on the edges, ears pinning back as he licks his sharp teeth. He doesn't know how old the rumor is, how old the trail is in the lands of Novus, but it's something.
Something is better than nothing.
Settling his wings, he curves them against his flanks as his head dips and he drinks from the water of the oasis instead, slaking his raging thirst from his flight. For now, he'll have to keep his eyes and ears open in this place, and continue on. If he doesn't find the man, he'll have to try and find him elsewhere.
