As it always seems to happen, change has come to the Court of Midnight and Stars. Isra has stepped down from her place as Queen and departed on a ship to a distant land with her mate, Eik, and one of her daughters, Avesta, plus a handful of other citizens of Denocte. In her stead rose Antiope as Sovereign, to lead them into a new season and the future. A future that will continue to, hopefully, be filled with peace.
With warmer weather comes a time for games and joy, and a chance to welcome visitors from far and wide. Denocte may be a court that thrives in the night, but there is no more hiding in the shadows. With peace, with change, Antiope hopes to bring Denocte into a future where they need never fear what is on the horizon, what is past their borders. Come, celebrate and live.
Once again the markets have been decorated to reflect the change of seasons with banners of blue and gold. The merchants are selling lavender and lemon cakes and there is iced tea and wine being served. But, that's not the only thing about the markets. Set up in the center is a summer fair complete with fair food, game booths and a performance stage. Test your luck and gamble at one of the games, or play for fun. Show your talents on stage with singing, dancing or playing music, even if you might not even be good at it. Then at night, a large bonfire is lit to kick off the festivities in true Denocte fashion.
There have been mere whispers of a great structure being built just inside the border of the Arma Mountains, where the pass opens up into Denocte. Those traveling into the court from outside have spread rumors of it, but now for the first time all will be able to lay eyes upon it. To celebrate its completion, there are bonfires big enough to light the archway, and in the trees spilling down from the mountains lights have been strung, guiding travelers and wanderers and vagabonds. Behold and look to the sky, for there is a brilliant fireworks display to feast your eyes upon, in a rainbow of colors.

A fun and interactive event for every equine, young or old! The scavenger hunt begins in Denocte’s streets, near the entrance to the court. Come on and put your sleuthing skills to the test and find the equine tasked with handing out the slip of paper that holds the first clue. There is only one way to see where this little adventure will take you. You can go it alone or pair up with friends for extra fun and if you’re lucky, you might just be the first to make it to the end for a special prize.
*This is a progressive event. Post your first thread in the Night Court board as your character searching for or finding the equine that is giving out pieces of paper containing a clue to the next location of the scavenger hunt. When you are ready, post your next thread in the board you think the clue is pointing you to! In total there are 3 clues, and all locations are within Denocte. Please include the event in the title of your threads and tag me (Katherine!) in them so that I can reply with your clues. Everyone who gets to the end of the scavenger hunt will be randomly rolled to determine an ultimate winner and they will receive 300 signos as a reward.*
