Liam Kenway
The new Sovereign thought his first days would be filled with a respectful sort of quiet.
One where his citizens knew that he was attempting to relax into the position before making any large sort of promises or events or anything of the sort.
But, as he walked amongst the Dusk Court Citadel, he heard a cacophony of bird calls, ones that he hadn't ever heard before. Pricking his ears, the stallion broke away from his royal advisor, who just stared at him in disbelief while muttering something about royals and being eccentric, and approached the middle of the Citadel. Frowning gently as he quietly and carefully opened the open atrium, Liam lifted his head to watch the birds fly off, something left behind by them on the ground. Curious.
As he approached it, the scroll unfurled, and he carefully read the invitation, something that he hadn't realized was going on. Having kept to himself all this time seemed to have been a bad idea; he'd had no idea that the other sovereigns of the other courts had gone missing as well, and now there was a new leader for Solterra. It looked like the entirety of the Dusk Court was invited, and Liam wondered if any of his citizens were attending. Flaring his nostrils as he lifted the letter and approached his royal advisor, he handed the letter over and beamed. "Pack your bags, we're heading to Solterra. I think it's time that we meet this Leviathan. Time to be neighborly an' all," Liam mused, his Agnosian accent slipping out as he walked on.
As he moved along, his royal advisor shocked but trailing behind him, the birds that didn't leave the Citadel remained, having found new roosting spots. Liam glanced up at them and grinned, flicking his ears expectantly towards them. They seemed to have quieted down a bit, but he was certain that there would be a new generation soon to bring about that same cacophony that their parents had brought.
