He could feel Raglan's close, intelligent eyes watching him, watching them. Deciphering, listening, picking up pieces of information and storing them away... Reich flicked his eyes to Raglan casually, staring at him as if to say "Don't, Raglan." The page was quick to look at his studies, quietly doing his work as Camdis leaned back subtly, watching Reichenbach over his tea. It was a small movement, but The King of Thieves noticed it. He scoffed quietly at Camdis' question, avoiding that searing gaze painfully as he looked into the fire.
"Sadly my skills lay in... other areas."
Two meanings. He shared a knowing glance with Raglan, holding back a smile - other areas... like thieving, fighting and... the other f. He was good at it, that was true - but he rarely partook. Perhaps because he had been raised with a sister, or perhaps because he'd seen the worst of the world - whatever the reason, Reichenbach did not sleep around. He didn't mind acting like he did, but at the end of the day, he went to bed alone.
"There'll be a meeting tonight, to formally announce you and your new title"
He said the words with a teasing smile, humming with an easy happiness (it was too easy to be happy when he was in a room with those burning argent eyes).
"You'll be expected to attend too, Rag." A glance at Camdis, "You and the others."
