Fight Example

This is a generic example, based off of no individual fight in particular. Feel free to ask the staff if you have any questions or concerns!

FIGHT TYPE: Challenge.

Character A: Health: 20 -- Attack: 20 -- Experience: 20

Character B: Health: 10 -- Attack: 10 -- Experience: 15 -- Position: Sovereign. Vulnerable (3 IC posts in the last month)

-------------------

Character A (female) enters the ring and waits. She challenges Character B, the vulnerable Sovereign of the Nope Court.
       (USED: 0 of 2 attacks, 0 of 1 blocks)

Character B (male) sneaks along the treeline, ambushes Character A from behind, trying to ram into her haunches and topple her over.
       (USED: 1 of 2 attacks, 0 of 1 blocks)

Character A hears Character B too late, and attempts to turn towards him. But she's too slow, and he slams into her ribs at full force. She is nearly tackled to the ground, winded, and weakly stumbles back to her feet. While he's still in proximity, she lunges at him, attempting to bite the nape of his neck.
       (USED: 1 of 2 attacks, 0 of 1 blocks)

Character B body checks Character A, and stumbles along with her, his forward momentum not so easily stopped. He tries to get back to his feet, only to feel her teeth find hold on the nape of his neck as he finally finds footing. He yanks his upper body away from her and swings his haunches around, bucking wildly at her chest and neck.
       (USED: 2 of 2 attacks, 0 of 1 blocks)

Character A's teeth sink into the flesh of his nape, only to be ripped away when Character B swings around. As he moves, so does she - lurching to the side and narrowly avoiding his hooves in what would have otherwise been a deadly hit. She rears up, seeking to bring down her hooves on his back.
       (USED: 2 of 2 attacks, 1 of 1 blocks)

Character B feels his hooves miss their target, and as soon as they touch ground he lunges forward - and away - from Character A. Her hooves narrowly avoid his back, and he glares at her as he slinks away into the treeline once more.
(USED: 2 of 2 attacks, 1 of 1 blocks) End fight.

Staff judgement #2:
       Character A: Total 67/100
              OFFENSIVE: Creativity: 22/30 -- Realism: 15/25.
              DEFENSIVE: Creativity: 12/15 -- Realism: 12/15.
              WRITING: Creativity: 2/5 -- Realism: 2/5 -- Metrics: 2/5.

       Character B: Total: 70/100
              OFFENSIVE: Creativity: 22/30 -- Realism: 22/25.
              DEFENSIVE: Creativity: 5/15 -- Realism: 15/15.
              WRITING: Creativity: 2/5 -- Realism: 2/5 -- Metrics: 2/5.

-------------------

Both the scores for one character will be added together.
Said character's ATK and HTH will be added to the total number, plus any bonuses.
That number will then be multipled by 1 + your character's EXP to determine the final total fighting points earned.

    -- Total of both staff judgments for Character A: 67 + 70 = 137
    -- 137 + 20 (for health) + 20 (for attack) + 25 (for challenging a vulnerable sovereign) = 202
    -- 202 x 1.20 (20 experience) = 243 (rounded up)

    -- Total of both staff judgments for Character B: 65 + 70 = 135
    -- 135 + 10 (for health) + 10 (for attack) = 155. Points divided in half for being vulnerable: 155 / 2 = 78 (rounded up)
    -- 78 x 1.15 (15 experience) = 90 (rounded up)

Staff will use the totals of both characters and utilize a true random number generator to determine the winner.
There will be a total of 5 rolls; best 3 of 5 will be deemed the winner.

    -- 243 (Character A) + 90 (Character B) = 333
-- In the True Number Generator, staff will set the minimum value to 0 and the maximum to 333.
---- To avoid one character actually losing a point, we adjust the random number generator to roll from 0 instead of 1.
---- Character A still has 243 points, since 0 is considered a roll-able number in the generator.

-- 0-242 will be a roll in Character A's favor.
-- 243-333 will be a roll in Character B's favor.

    Roll 1: 256 (Character B)
    Roll 2: 123 (Character A)
    Roll 3: 75 (Character A)
    Roll 4: 301 (Character B)
    Roll 5: 242 (Character A)

Character A wins, and gains not only experience, but is the new crowned Sovereign of the Nope Court.
Character B will be stripped of his rank, and thus will lose 3 of the 5exp given to him while he holds Sovereign status. He does not lose the full 5exp because this event took place in-character.

Once a battle is judged, any rewards are immediately given out by staff and all updates are made.
You are not required to post in any other forum or thread to have anything updated!

Experience gained follows the below rules:
Participate in a Battle or Challenge: +1
If you forfeit a battle by not responding by the deadline, you will not receive this experience!

Win a Battle: +1 additional (total of +2)
Clarification: Battles are for EXP and possibly a reward agreed upon by all RPers. Reward cannot be a Position of Power.

Win a Challenge: +2 additional (total of +3)
Clarification: Challengers seek to gain EXP and a Position of Power from those they challenge.
