A LITTLE MAYHEM NEVER HURT ANYONE

Grueling tensions // Want me in a spiral // I'm waiting to unravel // Twisted motives // Drive me in a circle // I'm dying to untangle

Morrighan watches as a Warden should- keeping tabs on the crowd within the markets and making sure there is nothing suspicious. There is one individual that catches her eye, his coat bright like the sun's rays, so out of place on the streets of Denocte. He stands out to her, although others do not seem phased. They are too captivated by the dancers to pay much attention to those gathered.

For a moment, she had scanned the line of dancers for Al'Zahra and felt a small pit of disappointment when the woman in gold chains did not appear. She shook the thought away, trying desperately to bottle up her emotions and forget it all. Her hooves begin to heat up already, but there is no kindling to set aflame. A shame, really.

Her two-toned eyes dart back to the man when he stands up to leave and she squints. Where could he possibly be going? She doesn't waste any time and follows.

He is wandering the streets, clearly not knowing where he's going. If his coat didn't give it away, it's his behavior, and it shows that he is not from around here. Morrighan keeps to the shadows, stepping softly on the cobblestone so as to not give away her presence just yet. There are those who can blend into the darkness - her mind drifts to Erasmus - and in this moment, she's jealous.

For now her stealth skills seem to be on par since the man has not yet noticed her. Perhaps he's too panicked by not knowing his way around, or out, depending on what his intentions are. Or he could be searching for something, for someone, in which case Morrighan is glad she's keeping an eye on him. Raum may be gone, but she still didn't believe his followers were.

When the golden man turns, she waits a moment before rounding the corner. He hesitates, possibly giving up on his wandering, but then he turns around. Dammit. His eyes are searching the shadows, he must have heard her.

Morrighan waits a few more moments for the sake of suspense and takes two steps forward. Just enough for the dim lantern light to hit the edges of her face.

"State your name and purpose for being here and I just might spare your life," she threatens. Her words are like ice, but there are sparks jumping at her feet. She has an idea of who she's come face to face with, but she wants him to tell her.
