The sun is just barely rising, reaching its golden fingers out across the lands of Denocte. Even in the night court there must be daylight, it is the balance of all things. It is time for the citizens to awake to a new day; filled with fresh opportunity. Caelum is gazing at the sunrise while collecting the essential medicinal herbs and flowers near the Vitreus lake. The grips of cold had melted away, the lands had welcomed the warmth. Fresh green shoots and blooms sprouted around the lake, covering the shoreline in vibrant colours. It was a thrilling time to be alive, the summer fae was in her element. Creatures in the land of Denocte could sense the shifting and stirring of the season; there was something in the air this morning!
Curiously there seemed to be a faint path of light leading into the trees. It floated wisply in strands on the ground, delicate beautiful flowers growing beneath the path, inviting Caelum to step in the trees. It was ethereal in its nature and unlike anything she had seen before. Sparkling and shimmering in the early morning light, like small diamond strands.
Faint whispers could be heard from the trees now, growing stronger. Sounding like the beating of wings, in an excited thrumming beat. The entire forest was celebrating the birth of the morning and the arrival of summer. It was as though they had been waiting for this very morning, for Caelum’s arrival.
Caelum is tasked with exploring into the forest and finding the source of the beautiful light. The forest itself is excited for her arrival and have been waiting for this exact moment; there are numerous creatures welcoming her into the forest. The entire place feels vibrant with energy, an almost electric magic is in the air.
Spring has crept all the way across the vitreus lake... but is that the doing of the seasons or of @Caelum herself? Afterall, it seems shes aboutt o walk into her birthright as the queen of the summer court.
