As his gaze skittered back over to the parchment and ink left behind for festival goers, the man heaved a sigh and resigned his fate to leaving notes for everyone he could think of, pulling several bits of parchment from the pile and setting them aside for his specific use, knowing that this third note was likely not to be his last.

He grabbed the quill that was rapidly becoming familiar and tapped it against his lips, who should this one be for?

One of the floating torches drifted past, the warmth of the firelight catching his eye, reminding him of a woman with a coat and eyes so very similar to the flickering tongues of flame. He pressed the quill to the parchment and began to write.

"Thank you for being considerate, even when it wasn't your fault. Thank you for being kind, and asking what was wrong, despite me never giving you any reason to continue to do so, and giving you all the reason to do the opposite. - Auru Geniven"

The drying process and threading of the ribbon was quickly repeated, the man still unable to avoid smearing the ribbon with a bit of ink as he made his hole by piercing the corner of the folded paper 'book' with the sharp end of the quill, causing a bit ink to stain the parchment in a way other than his words. Either way, he still scripted out an address on the front.

For Fire-girl

Content with that, the man set his quill down, trotting off down the boardwalk to come close to the end, where the stars would be visible if he stepped forward only a little further. Instead, he turned to his left, and securely knotted the ribbon about a low-hanging branch to leave the note hanging as a border along the boardwalk for it's hopeful recipient to find.
