Thank the Gods there are competent healers here in Novus. Torn and broken, she might not have made it in the wild without a physician's skill and knowledge. Sure, she could have been healed in Solterra, and true she would have felt better if she could have remained in the blessed land of Solis under his eye. But she's heard rumors of Rannveig, the sovereign of Terrastella, and the powerful healing she could perform. The rumors were true, and with the help of herbal salves, a stint, and some potion with analgesic properties, the queen had set Inkheart on the path of healing. Now, a few weeks later, she finds herself able to bear weight equally on all four hooves, with nothing to hinder her except a little stiffness when she's been lying down for a long time. That, and a jagged scar along her left side. Over time it would fade, she had been assured. Although she finds herself attractive and is happy to use that to her advantage, a scar just makes for an interesting: an "I survived!" tale.

Now in the far reaches of the desert, her dark form against the brightness of the sun makes for a striking picture to accompany that tale. Her golden gaze pierces the haze of the sun's heat, scanning the horizon for activity: Strangers - friend or foe. At first there's nothing but the sand carried aloft on the wind, drifting in swirls on the dunes. Ten minutes pass... twenty... thirty.... It isn't until nearly an hour has passed that she spies movement: a pegasus-shaped form creating the dune, headed in her direction. At first the dark priestess isn't sure that her eyes aren't playing a trick on her -- after all, he barely stands out from the sand, being an almost identical hue. But no, there's no trick. A golden pegasus continues to approach, and she trots toward him, transitioning into an easy canter to meet him. As she nears she slows to a trot, then a walk, and finally halts before him. "Welcome to Solterra, stranger. How can I be of assistance?" Polite, welcoming, and forever assessing the threat. But her sultry voice conveys nothing but sincere friendliness.

Had this sitting for awhile. @Somnus
