 It begins at dusk.

There is no part of Terrastella this Festival does not touch. Winter reaches out to all. This season, and its year are fading. A new year and a new season are coming. This is a time to celebrate the dying year and to look to the new. Roam, take yourself to each of Terrastella’s lands and see which one suits you more. Do you care to visit them all? Or is there just one place that draws you in; a moth to a flame.

 Here, Tinea Swamp is full of light. Flame lit torches float in the waters, sending gold light rippling. From the limbs of the trees hang notes. Some are encased in glass, like baubles. Some are just hung with ribbon and parchment. The notes are  written by festival goers for one another. Some are anonymous messages, some signed by name.

Is there something you wish to tell another? Do you love them? Do you want to thank them? Have you wronged them and wish to make amends? There are many reasons to leave a note. Write your thoughts down and hang it from a tree the person you write for, may just see.

Boardwalks weave their way through the swamp on stilts, flowers line their railings and petals are scattered across their boards. The walkways weave through the ornate trees, a myriad of messages hanging over them. At the end of each boardwalk is an opening to the sky, to the stars that reach up and up and up.
