Solis' reply only gained a roll of his eyes and an exasperated sigh from his lips. Of course the golden god would find this all to be a fun game...
And so they set off, teeth biting at heels and haunches like petty dogs working on their owners' ranch. The elk were, surprisingly, fairly easy to herd whichever way. After the first initial push to get them moving, just the Solterran's presence was enough to keep the entire herd running... albeit if one of them strayed too close, they might receive a nasty kick from one of the spooked elk. Torstein dodged several kicks, one grazing the upper side of his haunches in what he was certain would reveal a nasty scrape and leave a bruise.
But the closest call was when the one elk that @Veer thought to attack finally succumbed... toppling over from exhaustion and the final rattle of death taking it. It had been lodged on the outskirts of the herd as Veer had attacked it, and when it fell... it fell right in Torstein's path.
A sharp, loud curse tore from his lips, and he veered sharply right — nearly losing his footing — as his haunches coiled to vault him over whatever other part of the elk still lay in his path. He barely cleared.
"Fuck you!" came the roar that ripped from his throat as he shot a hate-filled stare at the ignorant pegasus. "Learn to watch what the fuck you're doing!" he seethed loudly as the pegasus descended back up into the clouds, choosing no longer to help after he claimed his one kill and blood. Piece of shit.
It only takes one time to make an impression. Veer better never hope that he needed to be in Torstein's good graces.

Not long after, the elk were out of the Mors and out of Solterra's hair. The Titan dug his heels in and skidded to a stop, his chest heaving and pelt slick with damp sweat. Ears pinned as Solis had the nerve to laugh, not feeling any bit of exhaustion as his mortal subjects would...
It already feels warmer! elicited a sharp snort from his nostrils. "That's because we're all sweating from having to run across the damn desert," he growled lowly, in between taking a few minutes to catch his breath.
