All eyes are on Somnus, and to some degree the mare standing beside him – he pays no mind to anyone else who might look on at the abrupt gathering, or reunion as it was quickly becoming to be recognized, least of all the pair of pale warriors which flanked him.
His grin is perpetual as he watches the Lord and Lady, living to see his brother wilt beneath his stare as he comes to terms with the fact that he is indeed alive despite the trials and tribulations thrown at him years ago. Atreus sees his brother offer a whispered word to his mistress, but what he says is as lost as sand on the wind. It doesn’t worry the Champion, however, only serving to fuel his odd excitement to be standing within Somnus’ own domain.
A singular brow lifts at Somnus’ accusations, and Atreus looks entirely taken aback, almost hurt to be accused of something like lying when he had only just arrived and expressed his sorrow for being away from his brother for so long. “As far as I can tell, it is only you displaying ill manners,” he quips back, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather. A thought crosses his mind in that moment, a flash of Vhallen’s King and it’s almost too good to hold it back, but Atreus knows better than that and he bites his tongue. “I’ll forgive you, though, like a good brother should.”
Eulalie is the name of the woman at his brother’s side, and with that same unfaltering grin he dips his head in pleasantry before straightening, his attention snapping right back to Somnus when he speaks of his son. “Very well,” he agrees easily enough, “Perhaps in the meantime we may distribute the supplies we’ve brought by Asterion’s order. They should help you recover from your recent misfortunes.”
