Sloane would find it difficult to break through and curl around Willoughby's heart in such a way that it was uncomfortable. “I suppose” the maiden chirps, respecting the woman's opinions about life. “I only wish to learn of the gods here out of respect for Novus' culture” she smiles, though visibly pauses before adding in a chuckle; “it does not mean I worship them.”
She was aware of them, but that was about it. “Yet I suppose I could also be selfish and use tales and songs in my own music - for coin” Willoughby softly admitted, even if she felt sort of and sort of not bad about it. If it brought joy to the masses, she did not care. The woman remarked she was better off being nobody. “I would like to be someone to someone else, but I do not care about the grand stage.”
She spoke of course about finding someone to love her for herself. One day she may have it, one day she may not. “But I understand what you're saying; renown comes with its own set of problems.”
