Only grunts as he bumps shoulders with her but all Flora can do is laugh and laugh and laugh - he knows someone else who likes to laugh a lot as well who isn't a fraction kind or cute as Florentine is. He says nothing, the predator lurks just beneath the calm and steady surface of a laughing, bumbling fool. His senses are on edge and he doesn't know why (oh - but if he did, what then?) -- he overlooks it as a simple nervousness over Florentine being tiger-less in the night.

"I'll come with you." He submits to her warning about snoring and floors and sickeningly enough he remembers the things that Stephan has slept through.

If only Florentine knew what the slippery fellow had been up to long before she found him in the snow.
