Velorca came to the caves more frequently than most, despite loathing being underground he found that they held many secrets — many stories, sometimes even lost trinkets and objects of power. He gleamed even in the thick murk of his cavern, the faintest of light straining to catch on his quicksilver thighs. In truth, he'd been learning about the Relic found not so long ago... the Relic everybody seemed to have forgotten. It's powers had not been seen, and the world of Novus had turned their eager eyes to War and love games.

There was more to winning a war than armies, more to it than just physical fighting. He should have been proof enough for that. A serpentine smile crept onto his supple lips as the witch approached, melting backward so that she would not see him as she passed. She smelled fresh.. dewy — not what he'd expected from an immortal. Then again... The Witch of Delumine wasn't immortal anymore.
Oh yes, he'd done his homework on the owner of Tempus' Relic.
She walked without fear into the depths, so he followed her — though as the shadows consumed him he frowned, golden eyes staring hopelessly into the depths beyond. The Abigo Caves were known to be endless, never fully explored, some places had likely never ever been touched for thousands of years. The witch tread on, and perhaps she heard him as he followed, with no light behind to make him gleam.
